Golang Job: Site Relability Engineer

Job description

Our client is looking for a temporary Site Reliability Engineer. You will be the one responsible for the consumer experience improvements and you need to continuously drive best practices. This will be done by means of focusing on the core operation principles by means of development and continuously deliver processes.

What you will work on:

• Help with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Support any instrumentation and you need to uncover any gaps for the production systems
• Establish observatory solutions and build tooling to improve the automatic failure detection
• Work with product delivery teams to provide solutions to production issues
• Perform deep problem analysis
• Detect infrastructure problems vs code defects
• Define and report on scale metrics and incidents
• Provide longterm solutions for reporting
• Work closely with other stakeholders

Requirements

What will you need?

• A bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
• You need to have min 2 years of experience working in software development, operations or support
• You have experience working with Java, Node.js or a similar language
• You have experience with Docker and/or Serverless patterns
• Experience with a No-SQL database (such as DynamoDB, Cassandrs)
• You have an understanding of DNS, Neworking, Virtualization and Linux
• You have experience working with Python or Golang
• You have an understanding of ITIL and ITSM
• Experience working with JavaScript on frontend (react, Angular, ect.) is a plus

Working conditions

This concerns a temporary role for around 6 months with a possibility to extend.
